Bird species on Runde
There are many species of birds to be found on Runde. A total of 230 different species have been registered on the island so far. Some live here all year round, while others come only for the breeding season.
We strive to develop sustainable experiences. The buidlings at Runde environmental center has high energy efficiency, and we have our own recycling stations for guests. Food waste is composted, and we want to leave as little trace behind us as possible, to ensure that Runde is an equally nice place to be for the next generation.
