Seaweed safari
Salty, nutritious, healthy and slimy.
Have you ever wondered how one can use seaweed for cooking? If you're curious about what these peculiar plants are and what they can be used for, this is the tour for you.
Tang undulates in the water surface, spreading out along the shore and not particularly appetizing, but have you ever tasted seaweed? If you dare to take the plunge, you can delve into a fantastic world of good food. Our skilled nature guide takes you on a journey into the world between the sea and land, brimming with food resources.
After a brief meeting at Runde Environmental Center, the nature guide takes you down to the sea, with our focus on the water, we taste the best ingredients you can find in the intertidal zone. The trip goes along and near the sea, in rugged terrain. We taste raw seaweed, cook others, and perhaps you'll get to taste other special delicacies?
