Spring Cleaning Day March 22nd

Saturday, March 21st is the national beach cleanup day, Spring Cleanup Day, and on this occasion we are organizing a beach cleanup campaign on Sunday, March 22nd in Voldsund.

The campaign is organized in collaboration with Runde Environmental Center, Experience Runde , Søre Sunnmøre Reinhaldsverk, Nettverk Marin Forsøpling Møre og Romsdal, Herøy Volunteer Centre, Herøy Kayak Club and many more. The campaign is open to everyone and there are areas to clean that are suitable for people of all ages. Experience Runde will provide a small snack and coffee/juice. At the event, clean-up bags and gloves will be handed out. The plan is to clean up as much of Voldsund + the surrounding area as possible. Herøy Kayak Club plans a trip around Voldsund and will then be able to cover areas that are difficult to reach on foot, while other volunteers clean up different parts of the area based on how far they want to go and how comfortable people are with traveling in the spring.

After the clean-up operation, it is possible to join in Runde Environmental center in collaboration with Kari Prestgaard and Astor Andersen, who work as artists and want to create cool activities together with us. Read more here
