Bird tour: Welcome the spring at Runde- Tour with Bird Life Norway - Møre og Romsdal

On May 5, Bird Life Norway's Møre og Romsdal branch is organizing a bird walk at Runde. Come and join them on a nice and educational trip!

After the tour, we invite you to the open center, with free entry to the exhibitions on the 2nd floor. A great opportunity to both see and talk about birds and at the same time see the fine exhibition of the Runde treasure.

The exhibition and café are open from 11:00 - 18:00, serving lunch/dinner and coffee/cakes/ice cream.

The bird island of Runde has more to offer than puffins! Join BirdLife Møre og Romsdal and walk along the road on the south side of the island this Sunday.

From the roadside, we have a good overview of the beaches and fields. Here we encounter both local breeding birds and migratory birds coming from wintering grounds in Europe or Africa. Some are heading further north. Runde is right in their path!

On the tour, nature photographer Hallgeir B. Skjelstad, who himself lives on the island, will tell you about the bird life.

We meet at the parking lot by the church yard at Runde and walk towards the harbor. The tour lasts an hour or two, depending on the weather. Feel free to bring binoculars if you have them.

This is a trip for everyone who loves nature and birdlife. BirdLife Møre og Romsdal organizes the trip.
