Opening hours
We provide accommodation, offer tours to the bird cliff and along the shore with our nature guides, host events and meetings and offer guided tours in our exhibitions by appointment all year round.

Opening hours
We are always open for accommodation and offer guided experiences, events and meeting opportunities throughout the year. In the quiet autumn and winter months, we have reduced opening hours at the visitor centre, but still offer experiences and welcome guests by appointment. Just remember to order in advance!
The exhibitions and food service continue during the visitor centre's opening hours.

Runde Miljøsenter is an international field station, and its task is to build up under Runde as an international research station for marine coastal ecology. At the centre, work is being done on the development of research and research infrastructure with a strong focus on safeguarding the sea, fish and birds as part of a vulnerable ecosystem. The research is closely linked to the activities at the centre.
